The Prospect Archives and Center for Education and Research, North Bennington, VT
The Descriptive Processes developed by Patricia Carini and her Colleagues from Prospect Archives Center for Education and Research in North Bennington, VT have been essential to my journey and practice as a bilingual educator. These processes offer a form of inquiry that draws on the rich, deep, and complex knowledge teachers have about children. At the center of these practices is description through a perspective of strengths. The purpose is to bring forward children’s capacities as meaning-makers.
